Travelling by train
from Berlin BER
There are several daily connections from BER to Rostock-Warnemünde, including some direct connections. Duration 3 - 4 hours.
from Hamburg HAM
There are several daily connections from HAM to Rostock-Warnemünde. Duration 3-4 hours. You have to use city railway in Hamburg and Rostock.

Please be aware that the conference venue is on the opposite river bank of Warnemünde and you have to take the local ferry to cross the river, if you arrive by train in Warnemünde. Final train station is "Warnemünde" aka "Warnemünde Fähre" aka "Warnemünde Bhf." it is NOT "Warnemünde Werft".

from Oslo (Norway) to Kiel (Germany)
There is also a ferry connection between Oslo (Norway) and Kiel (Germany) operated by Color Line (https://www.colorline.com/). Please note that Kiel is about 230km (2 and a half hour by car) away from Rostock, Warnemünde (Hohe Düne).

Rental car
Of course, you can also hire a car at the airports and train stations. However, we must point out that parking at the conference venue is expensive (EUR 19 per day outdoor car park, EUR 29 per day underground car park).
